All Quiet On The Western Front: Erich Maria Remarque

All Quiet On The Western Front: Erich Maria Remarque

In life we listen to a remembrance of war in light of our respect for the ones that fought and died for our freedoms. It is a bittersweet will of war for nationalism in support of minority managed politics. In a ‘minion included’ population without informed knowledge and signed within an echo chamber of men who want power in the maltreatment of innocent lives. A barbaric movement of millions, crossing to find peace amongst the cinders of murdered men.

We need to remember this war because it was a turning point in the world. It was a time of revolution in Russia, as Marxism was on the rise, willing power in acts of violence without retribution, included in a pact of alliance.

Imagine a moment of wilful minds coming together in battle. It is winning at the cost of life and redemption, as little peace is found in the glory of battle without an insurrection to incite it. Calling on able-bodied men to give their lives in the name of nationalism.
